this stage our engineers do a complete study
of the client’s environment and collects
valuable information regarding the current
information management environment. The information
gathered, typically answer the questions relating
to current volume, information accrual rate,
access frequency, information sharing needs,
physical storage indexing, access indexing
required etc. In case of a BPWMS solution
the information is related to processes, information
on transaction traffic, operational controls,
etc.
The information gathered allows the client
to decide whether to deploy, and where to
deploy such a solution. |

Goal

At
this stage it is decided with the client to
define a set of business goals and objective,
which needs to be achieved on successful implementation.
These would be the cornerstones of all future
tactical decisions, and the success of the
implementation would be judged based on the
criterion laid down at this time. |

Time
Frame Projections: |

Depending
on the goals, major milestones are defined.
Depending on the client’s operations
and infrastructure, human, operations as well
as IT, broad time-lines are defined for these
milestones. |
